Sib, —Dr Symes in his evidence before the Magistrate’s Court ou Dec. 13, in connection with the alleged manslaughter ease, is reported to have said that most people got their livers out of order if they lived in Christchurch long enough. 1 think it would benefit a large number of Christchurch residents if Dr Symes would kindly, through the medium of your muchread paper, tell us what ho bases his ! opinion upon in . this particular case, so that some of us might, if necessary, move to some place where we can at any rate keep our liveis sound.—l am, Ac,, ANXIOUS AND LIVERISH.
