At a banquet at Hamburg, the Emperor "William stated that the presence of King Humbert in Germany showed that the Triple Alliance Was unshakable. STRANDED. CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 6, H.M.S. Imogene, a small special service vessel attached to the Mediterranean squadron, has gone ashore on a sandbank off San Stefano, Sea of Marmora. A body of Turkish militia, assisted by four tugs, unsuccessfully attempted to get the vessel off. Sit Philip Currie, British Ambassador at Constantinople, was on board at the time of the accident.
