JUSTICES’ JUSTICE.

TO THE EDITOR. SiR,--Mr R. E. Green reminds me of the mountain that was in labour, and brought forth a mouse. He replies to my facts by accusing me of “not'speaking truthfully,” but this .kind of argument is unworthy of notice. Mr Green evidently belongs to the tribe of fanatics who consider it no crime to insult and impute base motives to other's, providing'they can climb down and apologise as soon as a defender steps forward. If Mr " Green wishes to show how justice should.be dispensed, I advise him to wait patiently till the Prohibitionists come into power, when, he will no doubt be elevated to the Bench.," That event will probably arrive with; the millennium ; in the meantime he will have to be satisfied with onr methods, as we are hardly likely to place much value on his opinions, particularly when, they are expressed, with such an excess of politeness.—l am, &c., J.P.
