FPesPbess Association.! i. KEEFTON, JuiiT 29. On Tuesday night Mrs Mitchell asked two men, named Hudson and Hopgood, to convey her husband to her house as ho was intoxicated by the roadside. They did so, but Mitchell became very violent, and stabbed Hudson several times with » penknife. Hudson fainted from loss of blood. Upon his recovering, the men went to get their horses, which Mrs Mitr chell had taken ahead, when - Mitchell chased them with a billhook, threatening to kill them. The men took the woman to her parents, and Mitchell was surested. Hudson’s wounds are not serious.
