HUNTING.

The Brackenfield Hounds had a very good day in the Eyreton district on Wednesday. The meet was at Mr John Davis’ farm, near the Eyre Bridge, and a field of about forty, besides : a number in vehicles, was attracted. The. ’'first hare turned up ran for two miles, and was then lost for a short time in the river bed. She was set going again, however, and was killed after a brief spin. Another rup. for about three miles followed, but the bare eventually got away oyer some ploughed land.
