WELLINGTON NEWS.
[Pee Press Association. ! WELLINGTON, March 24. The P. and O. agents here have been advised that the passengers ex Valetta and Caledonia were landed at Brindisi without trouble, the Continental authorities having become more reasonable* in their precautions against the bubonic plague. Mr Ben Tillett was entertained at a “social” to-night, at which an address was presented by the Trades Council. The guest, in reply, spoke for an hour and a half on labour and social topics. The Premier was present.
