FIRE.

A fire last evening gutted the front, or retail portion, of Pearpoint’s store, the largest in Geraldine. A brick wall saved the s main store, occupied by Webber Bros. The stock is insured for Ai 000 in the Victoria Office, the loss being =O3OO tc iMOO over that. The fire was caused by the breakage of a lamp.
