k [Pee Peess Association.] QUEENSLAND NATIONAL BANK,
BRISBANE, March 5,
In deference to the opinion expressed in London that nono of the present Board of Directors of the Queensland National Bank should offer themselves for re-elec-tion, these gentlemen have decided to retire at the forthcoming general meeting, A DYNAMITE EXPLOSION. • What looks like a dastardly attempt to destroy property was made at the Golden Cave Mine, at Crocodile. When the fire was being replenished in the battery room, an explosion occurred, and it is presumed that dynamite was concealed in the wood. Only small damage resulted. TELEGRAPHIC INTERRUPTION. ADELAIDE, Maech 5. Advice has been received that the land lines to London are down as the result of the gale, and messages are being sent from Plymouth by rail every few hours.
