RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. Shooting men are dissatisfied with the reduction of fares offered by the Union Company, and intend to ask the Government to put on a steamer to take the local and southern competitors to Auckland. The Government has no steamer available to take riflemen to Auckland, as the Hinemoa is dismantled and tho Tutanekai is away. , If the latter returns in time she may be laid on, but this is not likely.
