BOWLING.
THE EXHIBITION TOHENAMENT. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. Heavy rain to-day prevented the bowling tournament being completed. Besides the final game in the Pairs the final between Canterbury and Dunedin in the Hhampion Fours remains unplayed. As it wias impossible to play any games to-day, and the southern players are leaving to-nigHt, it has been arranged that Canterbury and Dunedin will fight out the championship game -at Christchurch, where ,the tournament of the New Zealand Bowling Association will he in progress next ' week. As regards the Pairs some of the players will stay until Monday and try and finish the games, and those - who cannot remain will appoint substituted to complete the matches .for them. ' • " "to Jan, 31. 1 Owing to the postponement of’ the departure of the southern Steamers there is a chance of the bowling tournament being concluded in the morning if the weather permits. , NEW ZEALAND BOWLING ASSOCIATION. The following arrangements _ for the bowling tournament were definitely concluded on Saturday night:— ■ Monday, Feb. 1. - Inter-club Matches, 9.30 a.m., Christchurch green—Christchurch v. Dunedin, four rinks; Green Island and Eoslyn V. Napier, two rinks. Canterbury green—Canterbury v. Oamaru, three rinks. 3 p.m. Christchurch green Christchurch v: Oamaru, three rinks; Green' Island and Eoslyn v. Welington, two rinks. Canter- - bury green—Canterbury v. Dunedin, four s rinks. Umpires—Christchurch green, Mr C. F. Money; Canterbury green, Mr H. Toomer, senr.; Captain Marshall’s green, . Captain Marshall. < ’ ; Entries for the rink- tournament close at Warner’s Hotel at noon to-day, and the draw takes place at 2 p.m. ' The following players have arrived : in Christchurch*:-—Dunedin—T.
