; , ANNUAL SPORTS. ... The annual sports of the Warwick House School were held yesterday, at Lancaster Park. The weather was fine, but-a cold south-west wind Slew across the ground, and the track was in a very soft condition. Most of the events were well contested. . Considering the state •of the ground, W. M. Meares did a very good performance in the 100yds open, which he won in 11-|sec. The challenge cup was won by W. 6. Rutherford with 19 points, W. M. Meares being second with 14. The officials 1 , who carried but their duties with satisfaction to all concerned, were as follows :■ —Judges, Messrs Charles Cook and A. J. Howell• starter, Mr P. A. Laurie; timekeeper, Mr A.: J.
