EICCARTON TRAINING NOTES, Monday. The weather was fine this morning, and the grass track was available for work. Cutts was first to commence, and despatched Golden Fleece and Montaeute for a fast gallop over six furlongs. Rustic and Te Kooti performed similar exercise, and Dalliance spurted at the end of one round. Loveshot, Salvo Shot and Pactoliis covered a couple of circuits, brushing home the last half - mile at . top. Nicholas and Bimetallist galloped six furlongs fast, and Skirmisher had Wedlock as a companion in a useful gallop over a mile. Barnardo and Mainstay covered two rounds of the schooling track, jumping the big hurdles in capital style, while St John and Lord of Misrule spurted six furlongs. Bogengang and Diploma galloped five furlongs at top speed, and Black and Red, Belle Clair, Liberator, Salvo, and a number <?f other horses accomplished useful exercise.

J. M’Ginness arrived from .Dunedin by express last night, bringing with him Maremma, Caritas and St Ouida, to fulfil their respective engagements at the C.J.C. Autumn Meeting. Acceptances for the Lancaster Park Trotting Club’s Autumn Meeting close today.
