A LICENSING CASE.
[Per Press Association.] MASTERTON, March 28. In tho Tucker Sunday trading appeal case, in tho District Court, Judge Kettle said that it was not right for the police to be employed in hunting up evidence for publicans, and he would not allow the police to assist the publican in the present case. The police had their proper duties to perform.
