A MATABELE RISING.
MASSACRE OF WHITES. VOLUNTEERS DESPATCHED TO THE SCENE., [Ter Press Association.] CAPETOWN,' March: 26. News has just been received of a serious rising auioisj? the Matabole at Matopopo Hills, followed by the massacre of a uitfober. of whites, including Mr Dsutley, Native Commissioner. A force of one hundred volunteers, with Maxim gods, has been despatched to the scene of the trouble. Whites from all parts of the country are flocking into Bulawayo for protection. The farm of Mr Selous, the well-known explorer and hunter, which is in the disturbed district, was raided by natives.
