AVON REFUGE.

The manager reports that the following contributions have been received for tho Ijist weak:— Me Butcher, Lower High Street, pork cuttings; Mr Forrester, Lower High Street, meat; Messrs Langionand 1 Steel, meat; Mr Hopkins, meat and sonp;i Mr Berry, meat; MrH. B. Lane, meat: Captain Fopham, one sheep; Mr W£| Barker, of Hancock and Co., one sheep and German sausage, case of kerosene* one box of candles; T.M.C.A., food; ai friend, bread; Mr Gardiner, clothing; Mr M’Dougall, “ Sunday at Home”; Mr Freeman, milk; Mr Warneo, hares and ewans; Mr Neil, one pair of boots; Working Men’s! Club, food and soup; Mrs Abel, parcel dfi clothing; a friend, two parcels of clothing;; Clarendon Hotel, clothing and onep&ir of j boots; a friend, dripping.
