.At the elections further results are .—Derby, Mr Primrose (Conservative) and Mr Drage (Conservative) were returned, defeating Sir W. V. Harcourt, late Chancellor of the Exchequer, by, 840 and 202 respectively. Por Perth, Mr Wallace (Liberal) was returned by a majority of 370. The Barrow election resulted in the return of Mr Charles W. Cayzer, the late member, by a majority of 800. Darlington returned Mr N. Pearse (Unionist), by a majority of 657, the seat having been held in the last Parliament by a Liberal. Por Chatham, Mr Davies (Conservative) was returned by a majority of 588. Por Manchester North-west, Sir W. Houldsworth (Conservative) was returned by a majority of 1400. For Machester East the Eight Hon A. J. Balfour defeated Professor Joseph E. C. Munro (Liberal) by 776, Por Manchester Mr S. W. M’Galloway (Conservative) was returned by a majority of 490. For Manchester North-east Sir James Hopeson was returned by a majority of 200. For Manchester South Lord Lome (Conservative) won by 780. For Manchester North Mr Charles Sehwoom (Liberal) was elected by 455. For Grantham Mr H. Y. Bullep Sopes (Conservative) was elected by 340. For Salford North Mr Higgins (Goneer vative) was elected by a majority q£ 6. For Line Mr Selby (Conservative) was elected by 200. For Salford South Sir H. H. Howorth was reelected by 74. For Salford West Mr Lees Knowles was re-elected by 100. For Stockport, Messrs G. Whiteley and Melville, Conservatives, were returned. For Christchurch Mr Abel H. Srhith ; for Exeter, Hon Sir S. Easter; for York City, Mr G. J. Butcher and Sir Frank Lockwood; for Leicester, Messrs H. Broadhurst and H. W. Hazell.

The totals are—Liberals 10, Conservatives 96, Parnellites 4. The Unionists have returned 76 members unopposed. Their gain at present is eight, while they have lost one seat.
