THE GOURLAY-STOKES COMPANY.

Thera was a good audience, at ths Theatre Royal last evening, whentho Gourlay - Stokes Company played 4 "second edition” of the comedy-bur-lesque Bevels. The fun of the piebd was greatly enjoyed, tfae andiened being kept laughing almost? continuously! In the speciality scene, new songs and dances wore introduced. Little Miss Bella Nixon sang in a lively manner “ Whacky, Whacky, Whack,” and also danced a skirt dance with a great deal of success. Mies Amy Gourlay danced with gracefulness, and she sang her song "Marguerite” with such expression as to win an encore. Mr W. Gourlay was encored for his coster tiohg " Never Introduce your Donah to a-Pal,” and replied wi|h " The Little Nipper.” In his eccentric dance he gave further proof of his wonderful agility. Mr Leonard Preston recited “ Told in the Condemned Cell” with effect. The funniest item in the scene, however, was the dqet by Miss and Mr Gourlay; "'The, Little Peach,” which was loudly env cored. The performance was brought to a close with the - pretty Umbralls| Medley. This evening there will be as entire change of programme. A triple bill, consisting of the farce Turn Him Oui'i the farcical comedietta That Awful Girl and Scotch Law will be produced. The last piece, in which Mr Gourlay plays the part of Sandy M’Dougall, is a Scotch adaptation of the farce Irish Justice. To-; morrow night—the last of the Miss Amy Gourlay will take a benefit,
