THE MOSTYN-DALZEIL COMPANY.
This company will make its first appearance before tho public of Christchurch on Monday evening in a drama of Australian life emitted Hansom, which is described ay “redolent of the bush and the pungent odour of tho gum tree, full of vivid pictures, thrilling situations, and hearty, healthy, comedy.” It had a successful run lately under Mr George Eigaold’a management at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sydney. Miss Dora Moatyu, who will make her first appearance here as Tom Chivey, is said to be all the moat exacting could require ns a “boy” actreaa. She will be supported by Mr D. L. Dalzeil, and a company, most of whom are new to Christchurch. The scenery for the piece has been painted by Mr Robert Vaughan, from authentic pictures of the country whore the action cf the piece is laid, and the music was specially composed by Mr David Cope.
