Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s R.M.S.S. Doric arrived in port yesterday morning from Wellington. TIMAEU. Last week was the quietest experienced in the port of Timaru for a long time, there being very few arrivals or departures. On Saturday, the Union ateaiaera Omapere and Pohcrua called, from Dunedin and Oatnaru. The former landed 100 tons of merchandise, and took away 300 tons of produce for Wellington and the West Coast, leaving for Akaroa in the evening.
