Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations Saturday, May 11. For Auckland, per Ohs.u, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m.j guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Gray mouth, per Hesketh, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 7.45 p.m.; lata fee letters, S p.m,; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. Wednesday, May 15. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies, (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands and Samos, and also for Northern Porta of New Zealand, per Tnkapnua, as follows; —Ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m.; lato fee letters, 8 p.m.; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m,; registered letters, 5 p.m.; money orders, 4 p.m.; guard’s vau, 9.15 p.m. train. Duo London Juno 19. The next paved mail for tho United Kingdom will closo on May 16, per Kaikoura. msmsesaa Note.— ln future the afternoon delivery will commence at 2 p.m. in place of 3 p.m., and will be extended to certain portions of the suburbs.
