/ In the grain market there is little fresh to notice. Most lines are unaltered, and prices are without quotable change. Wheat continues extremely firm, and holders do not care to sell at leas than full rates; ! Wheat. —Prices range between 2a 7d and Sa 8d for Pearl, 2a 7d for Tuscan, and 2s Sid to 2s 6d for Hunter’s. Holders are 'shy of quoting for large parcels. 1 Oats. —Prima milling oata ate worth la 4id or a shado more for an exceptionally good cam ole. Duns are worth la Id to Is 3d j‘pure Tartars fit for jeeed and black, la 3id to la 4d; inferior land thin are difficult to sell at Is Id to jla 2d. For good lines of Duns and stout .feed the market ie a shade stiffer. i Baulky is without demand. Second jquality 2s 3d to 2s 6d. Peah.—No improvement can be noited in the demand. Blue Prussian are worth 2s to 2s 2d, Partridge 2s, other feed sorts Is lOd to 2a. Etecobn. Nominally worth Is 6a to 2s. Flouk.— Millers have raised prices, and now quote;—Roller <£7 10s, stone £7. , Oatmeal £8 5a to £8 10s. Potatoes. —15a to 17a 6d at country stations. Market stagnant. Geass Seed.— Nothing doing in ryegrass ; cocksfoot is equally quiet. Clover Seed,— Cowgrass, extra choice, is worth 6d, good ordinary s£d to 5f d. Onions are worth 85s to 955, sacks included. Butter still continues in fair supply; factory make is worth 8d to 9d, dairy 6d to 7 Jd. Cheese 3J-d to 4d, small loaf-shape 4Jd. Chafe— Oatsheaf 32s 6d at country stations.
