Sie, I have to thank your correspondent of this morning for kindly “ damning me with faint praise.” He has, however, one good point—his nom - de plume, “ Excelsior“ The ring,” as he designates the Standard Oil Trust of America, ia made up of her ablest and wealthiest citizens, who, by their enterprise, brought kerosene to the homes of all.
