ROAD BOARD.
' SPREYDON. The usual monthly meeting was held oa Thursday. In the absence of Mr Eandisides, Mr Down was voted to the chair. Correspondence was read Prom the Selwyn County Council,, stating that it had no funds to -devote to the regrading of the Lincoln Road. Prom the same, regarding the destruction of Californian thirties. It was resolved that the roadman’s attention should be directed to the matter. It was resolved to ask the Sydenham Borough. Council to pay half the cost of an oil lamp in Jcrrold Street. Accounts amounting to .SSI Is 9d were passed for payment. *
