AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Pee Peesej Association.] AUCKLAND, Pee. 27. The flagship Orlando, Admiral Bridge, arrived at the Bay of Islands from Hobart this morning. At noon to-day Mr M; Niecol, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, received the following telegram from the Admiral:—“ Expect to arrive at Auckland to-morrow forenoon, probably about tan o’clock.” This intelligence upsets the arrangements made for the reception of the Admiral by an aquatic display, m the expectation that ho would not arrive till Saturday. It is not known whether the Admiral will make an official landing. Lady Glasgow and her daughter left Rotorua to-day by train for Ngaruawahia, where her Ladyship will stay till Friday, when she comes on to Auckland to meet the Governor. The Town Board of Ngaruawahia intends presenting,her Ladyship with an address on behalf of the residents. The manager of the Silverton mine, Waihi, has sent to Loudon by the mail J 84500, to be paid to the present holders of shares in the original company.
