M’Kibbin’a performance yesterday in dismissing eight men of a strong side on a batsman’s wicket, taken in conjunction with his fine bowling in Brisbane, has caused a strong feeling in favour of his inclusion in the last of the test matches. Jfc ia thought here that Turner ought to give way to him. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 27. The Otago cricketers had a big recaption, on returning to-night. Steps were taken to recognise Clarke's batting performance, and the sum of £2O was raised by subscriptions limited to a florin. Clarke was carried shoulder high to the drag.
