FOOTBALL .
The meeting of the Cambridge Football Club, which was to have been held last evening, lapsed for want of a quorum. Those interested in the welfare of the club are requested to attend a meeting at the Royal Hotel at eight o’clock this evening.' The Christchurch Football Club holds regular evening practices on the Club’s North Park, at five o’clock. Sides will be chosen on the ground for a scratch game on Saturday afternoon at three o’clock. The following will represent Richmond v. all comers, on Richmond Domain, on Saturday: Pentecost, Garner, Dunn, Carpenter, Hughes, Cook, Wylie, Brown, Graham, Barbour. Waldron, Ridley, Gaze, Harborrow and M’Clurg. The following will play for Papanui v the rest of tho club on Saturday— F. Jones, B. P. Loveisedge, Hoare (2), Cornwall, Cullen, Harper, E. M’Clenahan, Cotton (3), Roxburgh, Burgess and Buntin. The following will represent Southern Fifteen v. rest of clubOrmandy, Gray, Smith, Perkins, Voyce, Tarton, Stevens. Hobba, Fraser, M’Gill, Amos, Williams, M’Eendry, Brown and Bird.
