FPeb Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. A conference of delegates of Temperance organisations in the city is to bo hold next week, to draw up a concerted plan of campaign for the election. The Prohibition League has appointed a committee to consider the necessary steps for the establishment of a permanent organ in Wellington to promote the objects of the Temperance party. The prospectus of the Manawatu Junction Railway Company, Limited, with a capital of .£160,000, has been issued. The company is formed for the purpose of constructing the connecting links of a through line of railway extending from Levin, on the Wellington and Manawatu railway, to Kakariki station, on the Government Pojcton and New Plymouth line, already proposed. The line would shorten the distance between Wellington and New Plymouth by about fifteen miles,
