BANKRUPTCY PROSECUTION.
[Pee Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 8. At a meeting of the creditors of David Thompson, flasmiller, Otaki, the Official Assignee was requested to institute criminal proceedings. The debtor, amongst other things, admitted having told certain creditors that he had flax stored in Wellington awaiting a rise in price in ordorto induce them to grant an impress for wages, whereas at the time the flax was actually sold and the money in his possession.
