[Special to Pbkss Association.] LONDON, June 22. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,876,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,072,000 quarters. National Bank of New Zealand shares are quoted at .£1 10s. It is announced that tenders for a Victorian 3| per cent loan of .£2,000,000, with a minimum of 92, will be opened on June 29. The American visible supply of wheat is 35,100,000 bnsbels. ST PETERSBURG, June 22. The Government has withdrawn the inhibition of the export of all cereals except rye, rye flour and bran. [Received June 24, at 1 a.m.] LONDON, June 23. Messrs Gr. Barber and Co., bankers, have suspended payment. The liabilities are set down at .£650,000. At the wool sales to-day the bales offered were of an inferior selection, but prices remained firm for all good wools. Heavy faulty classes were slightly cheaper. Money is very plentiful, and there is an official impression that the Victorian loan will be subscribed at a premium. One of the leading bankers expects that it will average .£94. Brokers, however, doubt its being successfully floated, and state that the public is not likely to subscribe largely. MELBOURNE, June 23. Owners are to bo allowed to import horses into the Colony, if exported again within seven months, free of duty. Regulations are being drafted to remove obstacles in the way of transmission through Victoria of carcases of mutton and beef. Cattle and sheep required for the frozen meat trade will be admitted free, if exported within a given time. LIVERPOOL AND LONDON AND GLOBE INSURANCE COMPANY. The report of the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company states that the net fire premiums for the year 1891 amounted to £1,479,783, and the losses to £989,605. After providing for expenses there is a surplus of £29,309, of which £23,000 baa been added to the fire reassurance fund, and the balance has been carried to profit and loss account. After payment of dividend the general fire reserve fund will stand at £1,970,000, and , ,tho profit aadloßsiund at £533,864.
