SEFTON DAIRY FACTORY.

The annual general meeting. of share*. holders of the Sefton Dairy Company, waa i held in the Town Hall, Sefton, on Thura-; day night. There was a good attendance, j : and Mr Dick (Chairman of Directors); presided. The balance-sheet,showed that the Com*; pahy was in a sound financial condition, ; as, although there was an overdraft of *. JE277at present, there was a call duo in i four days’ time that would reduce it by; about JBIOO, whilst there was about another jBIOO due for butter supplied,* leaving £77 of a debit balance. Against * this there was property valued at i>losl, '> less 7 per cent written off for depreciation. Gordge) for the satisfactory manner in .which he had worked the factory since its opening,,:. The Chairman announced that a dividend of 6 per cent on the paid-up capital; of the Company would be payable on May 1 next The meeting then closed with a vote of; thanks to the Chairman.
