Donaldson, member for Bulloo, moved—- ** That the House do not go into Committee of Supply until the Government has furnished a full and definite financial statement.” The Government accepted tho motion as one of want of confidence, tbongh the Opposition repudiated any intention of turning the Government out. The debate ia proceeding. TASMANIAN AGENT-GENERAL. HOBART, August 13. The Government has decided to reappoint Sir E. N. C. Braddon, AgentGeneral for a further term of three years.
