MAT 28, The Bank of England returns pub* lished to-day show the total reserve* to be dfil 6,070,000, being an increase ’ of .£2.234,000 as compared with the previous week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 40'60 per cent. Consols are at 95 J. Three months* bills are discounted at 4 per cent. Hew Zealand inscribed stock, 102 { 3| per cent do, 95. The English wheat market is firm at 445.
