It is expected that the enforcing of the modus vivendi by the Newfoundland Parliament will cause the withdrawal of the Bill which was introduced in the House of Lords by Lord Knutsford. [Received May 29, at 5 p.m.] Archbishop Oroke, iu a speech at Limerick, said he was greatly afraid that the cause of Home Rule was lost. People were utterly unfit to rule if they sympathised with Mr Parnell.
