TIM ARIL Monday, May 17. (Before His Honor Judge Ward.) IN BANKRUPTCY. Thomas Currie, bankrupt (Mr Hamersley) applied for his discharge. Granted. Be James Quinlan. —Bankrupt applied for his discharge. Mr Lynch for bankrupt. Mr Hamersley appeared to oppose the application. The bankrupt was examined by Mr Hamersley, and said that at one time he had some property in Timaru, which he made over six or seven months ago to a person called T. Quinlan, to whom he owed money. Just before filing he received some money for harvesting, and after dividing with his mates, his share came to £9 3s. Mr Hamersley then ex amined the bankrupt very fully on several contracts that he had done. The bankrupt said there were no assets in his estate. After the Bench were addressed by Mr Hamersley against granting, and Mr Lynch in favour of, the discharge, the order was granted. Be J. Currie. —Order granted. Be J. W. Stonyer, a bankrupt.—Mr White applied for the Deputy Assignee’s costs out of the estate. Order granted.
