OUR VOLUNTEERS.
A parade of the Ist Battalion, Canterbury Eifles, will be held this afternoon. The men will fall in on the drill-shed ground at 3 p.m., and will proceed to Hagley Park for the purpose of practising field movements. It is to be hoped that as , many of the Volunteers as can make it' possible to attend will do so, as the practical value of such an afternoon's work as_ will be gone through can hardly be overestimated.
