South District Bifles. . D and £. Nos. 1 and 2 Waikari Biflei. B. Bruce Bifles. G and B[. East and West Taieri Bifigs. 1. Clutha Bifles. ; K, Waikouaiti Bifles. L, Portobello Bifles. No. 3 Battalion. Canterbury Engineers. A. Biverton Bifles. Christchurch City Guards. B. Oamaru Bifles. C. Hampden Bifles, D. Otepbpo Bifles. E. Invercargill Bifles. B. Temuka Bifles. G. Arrow Bifles. H. Cromwell Bifles. I. Ashburton Bifles. E. Detachments from Northern corps arriving by Sea. The following'memo has been issued by the Assistant Quarter-Master General “To Officer commanding corps. “ This corps will be Company m No. Battalion. ■ “ Beferring to memorandum No. 2, dated Beb. 16,1880, your attention is directed to the above notification. Volunteers are to restrict their baggage to one package, and that one to be .as small as possible. Each package is to bear (1) the name of the owner, (2) the Nm of the Battalion in large figures, (3) the letters of the Company to which its owner belongs. On entering the train the baggage of each Corps or Company should be placed together. On arrival the baggage will bo taken charge of by a detachment acting under Orders from the Assistant Quarter-Master - General’s staff. Volunteers will fall in on their -coverers as they may be directed, and will be marched- off to their quarters. The baggage will follow. Volunteers on arrival are on no account to interfere with these arrangements.”
