Parker (Captain of the Club) in the chair. After the xhihutesof the last general meeting had been, ’confirmed, this following gentlemen were proposed, and duly elected members Messrs B. Spencer, —funster, H. Bagstev, C. Bdek >; 0. B. Cogan, H. Bachelor, and B. Evans. • . The Chairman read the following report: — ' !< stdur Committee have to report that, since the last annual meeting of the Club, a general meeting was called for the purpose of . winding up the cricket portion of the Club, and the Secretary: was authorised to dispose of; the materials as best he could, but after writing to nearly ailtho Cricket Clubs in the place, the materials are still 1 oh our hands. Also, that about three months ago, the then Seore-. tary, Mr H. Keith, left the Oolony but his place your Committee have filled by Mr T. B. Joynt, whq has undertaken the duties, of Secretary and Treasurer till this meeting* “ The Committee: .were instructed at the last meeting to revise top standing rules of the Fodthair Club,‘but wei-e unable to find out wherethe rules were entered in the minute book, and canio to the conclusion that no rules m cbnhe'ctioh with the football were ever in force. Wo therefore have drawn up; a set of by-laws, which will be brought before you in the usual waV, and which we haye no doubt will, meet the views of .the Chib, as we have gone through them thoroughly.
