' CHRIST’S COLLEGE T. CHRIST-' CHURCH 0.0. This match was begun on • March 18, and ended on Saturday, to a very unsatisfactory draw. The first day’d play resulted greatly in favour of the boys,' giving them a lead .of 49 Oh the first inning.'. The chief*item in this was W. Ootterill’s 60, a really good inningsi although not free ' from chances. Turner’s 30 for. the Christ church was the only other respectable .score of the day. ■ On Saturday the Christchurch men; strengthened 'by Wheatley, who had; been the. first day,'made a much Fetter fight of’ it, and at, the finish thingb looked hopeful for them. Owing to the rain the turf was very dead, the result being very low scores on both sides'. For the Midland, Milner and Faithuwt allmade double figures.
