T. 0. not so hastily rushed into print with hi* ideas about the direction of winds, and his inference about what they ought to indicate in the Southern Hemisphere, but only waited for a few days, per* haps he would hare been coarinced of the truthfulness of the quotation from Professor Ansted’s work, in application to the ireather in New Zealand. I presume your readers In this locality will admit that the weather has been very unsettled since Jan. 30, as predicted by your contributor. If T.O. has not hitherto rtid any attention to this interesting study, strongly advise him to do so, for I believe it will enhghten his mind and prevent him from making such crude remarks. T. 0. will be asserting that, “Because men in the Northern hemisphere walk on their feet; in the Southern they walk on their heads. If they do not they ought to do so according to T.
