ROAD BOARDS.
WAIPARA. A meeting of this Board took place oh Monday, Feb. 3; present—Messrs W. Parkerson (Chairman), J. Comae, and T. Saunderson;—The Surveyor’s report was read and considered.—The Board agreed to lay out £IOO on Qlehduhi road, to make a passable track for the settlers there.—The Board granted one month’s extension of time to the contractors, Johnston, Lukey and Son, who had made application for it.—An application from .Mr Edwards f6r payment for the shingle pit was received. The Board bhat could not be carried out till next year.—The Surveyor was ordered on North road fenced, near Weka Pass Hotel. The Surveyor was also instructed to get the Stonyhurat road contract advertised, and also to lay stone on the North road.-Mr M'Grath saw the Board regarding his eontraot, and was . required to re-shlnglo 20 chains of it.-The Bottfd came to the conclusion that it was offloes ' ani the plans for them be rekdy next meeting.
