TIMARU DISTRICT COURT.
* Thubsdat, Maech 1. (Before his Honor Judge Ward.) CITIL CASES William Jones and Henry Peters v. Thomas Machin; claim, £9B 11s 7d for work and labour done and goods supplied. Mr White, solicitor for defendants, agreed to accept judgment for the amount claimed, without prejudice of a cross action pending. John Oldrey v. Jabez Lukey ; claim, £65 6s 6d damages for an assault. Mr Hamersley for plaintiff; Mr White for defendant. His Honor said he would only give nominal damages for trespass (10s), each party to pay their own coats. Jackson t. Machin; claim, £75 15a 6d for goods sold and dishonoured promissory note. Judgment confessed.
