ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY.

The usual monthly meeting of the Council was held at the Curator’s house in the Gardens at 3 p.m. yesterday. Present— Messrs J. 1Peacock (in the chair), A. Duncan, H. o. A sum of £5 was voted to Mr Starkis, as a gratuity for services tendered during the interim between tho discharge of the former Curator and tho appointment of the new one.
