Lorimer," all persons who claim to be entitled to participate in a Fund collected in the Colony of Victoria, in consequenceof the following resolutions which were passed at a public meetingof inhabitants of the city of Melbourne, on the 7th day of September, 1860, namely "Thatintbeopinion of this meeting, the privations now being endured by the Volunteers, Militia, and the Families, and the destitution of other Colonists in New Plymouth, caused by the rebellion of the Maoris in that province, loudly call for prompt sympathy and aid from the Australian colonies; that a committee be appointed for the purpose of collecting from the inhabitants of this colony contributions either of money or suitable goods in aid of the sufferers by the rebellion in New Plymouth," are, by themselves or their solicitors, on or before the lttli day of October, 1866, to come in and prove their claims before me at my Chambers, l.a Trobe street, Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from the benefits of the said decree; and FRIDAY, the 19th day of October, 1866, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at the said Chambers, is appointed for hearing and adjudicating upon such claims.
