TENDERS are required for the erection of a Public Pound in the town of Ashburton, consisting of a yard, 9 panels bv 5 panels (of 4 rails), with a division. The whole to have a capping of not less than 4 inches through. Posts to be round blackpine, not less than 12 inches through, charred at tho ground line, 9ft. Gin. in length, and to be sunk oft. 6in. in the ground. Rails to be black birch, 9ft. (Sin. long, 6in. at the back, and to average 9in. in depth. A wing to be made, 2 chains long, viz.l chain of 3 rail panels, 1 chain of 2 rail panels, with black birch posts. Tenders to include material, cartage, erection, and all expenses.
