The schooner Star of Tasmania arrived on Friday afternoon, from Dunedin, after a passage of fifteen days. Her dates have been anticipated by several arrivals; she brings a Melbourne mail, ex City of Hobart, with dates as far back as the Ist of April: rather late. The brig Heather Bell, arrived yesterday afternoon, at five o'clock, from Sydney. She is commanded by Captain Arnold, late of the steamer- Augusta. Her cargo is consigned to Messrs. J. T. Peacock and Co., and comprises a large assortment of merchandise. The New Schooner Dancing Wave.—On Thursday Captain Buxton arrived with his new vessel from Auckland, in ballast. Her capacity is over 150 tons; she is a smart rakish looking craft, and will be found a valuable addition to our coasters. This is the second vessel Captain Buxton has had built in New Zealand. According to builders' measurement she is 150 tons, 81 ft. on the keel, 20 ft. 4 in. beam, 7 ft. 6 in. depth of hold, and when loaded will draw 6 ft. 6 in.
