SECRETARY, PRO TKM.: J. P. Jameson. AMONGST the increasing requirements of this city, there are none so severely felt as the want of well regulated and commodious baths. It is therefore considered advisable, not only for the comfort of the people of Christchurch, but in a sanitary point of view, that such baths should be established. In furtherance of this object a plan combining commodious swimming baths, with private baths, both hot and cold, attached, with a separate department specially reserved for ladies, has been prepared; also an offer of a valuable freehold section of land in an excellent position has been secured upon very favorable terms, and it is fully anticipated that a large return will be made to the shareholders for the investment of their capital. At a moderate calculation the enterprise is estimated to return 18 per cent, dividend. A deposit of 10s per share to be paid upon application for shares, the remainder will be called as required. Plan of the building can be seen and full particulars obtained at the offices of the secretary. FORM OF APPLICATION: Christchurch Bath Company (Limited).
