HpHIS vessel has arrived from Auckland in bal- -»- last trim, and will be ready to receive cargo in the course of a day or two. The Mermaid is a 'first-class passenger ship and well known in the trade. She is a fast sailer, and last season on her homeward voyage reached soundings in 73 days, and landed her passengers on the 82nd day. * ° As several of the Mermaid's cabins have been already engaged, early application will be necessary. ; ; Every assistance will be afforded shippers in bringing their produce coastwise.
