Every proposed purchaser not on the Commission of the Peace, or personally known to the Licensing Officer, to be recommended by a Justice of the Peace. 2. No person to have a license for sporting purposes for more than— 1 pound Powder ") 10 pounds Shot C per quarter. 500 Percussion Caps j Runholders and managers, of runs may obtain licenses for 10 lbs. powder, and a proportionate quantity of shot, bullets, lead, and caps, per quarter, by application iv writing, with proof to the satisfaction of the Licensing Officer, that the ammunition is required for consumption on the run of the applicant for the purpose of destroying pigs or wild dogs, for rifle practise, or for some other legitimate purpose.
