HE Provincial Government are prepared to receive offers for the establishment ot a STEAM SERVICE between the Ports of hjttelton and Akaroa, and between Lyttelton and timaru, in the following manner:— I.—A distinct service between Lyttelton and Akaroa to be carried out fortnightly. The vessel will be bound to carry a mail when required, and to wait a reasonable and convenient time in each port. The subsidy for this service to be at a set sum per month. '•—A distinct service between Lyttelton and Timaru.
