WHY HE STOPPED.
An officer on board a warship was drilling his men. "I want every man to lie on his back, put his legs in the air, and move thou as if he were riding a bicycle," he said. "Commence." After a few minutes one man stopped. I "Why have you stopped, Murjphy?" asked the officer. J "If you please, sir," answered 'Murphy, "I am free-wheeling."
